About Us
For almost twenty years, I worked as a sommelier, wine director and winery manager, tasting for quality, balance, and everything a well-trained palate is supposed to catch. It's a skill built over years, not something you pick up over a weekend, and it turns out that skill doesn't care whether it's pointed at a glass or a cup. When I fell for coffee, I realized I'd been training for this the whole time. A good bean deserves the same attention as a good bottle. So I left the wine world behind and opened Joycraft Roasters, right here in Osoyoos.
We roast small batches because that's how I keep the kind of control and attention this work deserves. I taste, adjust, and taste again until a coffee shows up the way it's supposed to. Some days that means chasing down a Pink Bourbon from a single family farm in Colombia. Other days it means blending two very different origins until they land in balance with each other.
We work with Canadian importers who share our commitment to fully traceable, ethically sourced specialty coffee, because knowing exactly where a bean comes from and who it supports isn't optional for us. Every bag we sell should leave the world slightly better than we found it, and your morning slightly better than it started.
Joycraft Roasters opened its doors in 2025, but the real story started years earlier, in glasses of wine instead of cups of coffee. Same obsession, same curiosity, just a different craft. We're glad you're here for it.
